Lawn Doctor of St. Louis/St. Charles is a locally owned, family-run company specializing in advanced lawn care solutions. Our services include turf maintenance, pest control, soil health, and disease management, aimed at enhancing the beauty and health of outdoor spaces. With a commitment to integrity, teamwork, continuous improvement, and adaptability, we’re expanding and seeking a Sales Manager with a strong agronomy background to lead our sales and customer service teams.
- Train new sales and customer service staff, implementing consistent sales and service strategies to enhance skills, performance, and customer retention.
- Manage a fair, structured lead distribution to drive accountability and maintain team cohesion.
- Oversee team performance, track KPIs, and manage team morale, conflict resolution, and seasonal strategies.
- Organize and track marketing and call campaigns, optimizing resource use and effectiveness.
- Drive a goal-oriented culture, aligning team performance with company revenue and profitability targets.
- Provide regular training, support well-being, and prevent burnout to keep the team engaged and prepared.
- Ensure timely, professional customer interactions and handle escalations as needed.
- Build strong customer relationships through empathetic, clear communication to boost satisfaction and retention.
- Agronomy Background: Strong understanding of agronomy, turf management, soil health, and pest control. A degree in agronomy, horticulture, or a related field is a plus.
- Sales Experience in Agronomy/Turf Industry: Proven experience in sales, ideally in lawn care, landscaping, or agronomy.
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain technical aspects of turf care and treatment to both the team and clients.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities: Competence in assessing customer landscapes and providing effective solutions.
- Driver’s License: Valid license with a clean record for field visits.
- Competitive Salary & Incentives: Base pay starts at $55,000+ with commission and performance bonuses.
